With how many romance novels I have read in my time, it is difficult to find ones that are not so easily predictable. This story made me emotional as I read because I related to Gracie and how often loving the wrong person can hurt. The chemistry between her and Leo was fantastic, and I wanted them to stay together from the beginning. They are genuinely relatable characters with much heart to them, and I found myself learning from them even though they are fictional characters. When the author can write a character or set of characters that seem very real, I cannot help but feel an attachment to them, almost as if they were friends I want to care for. A remarkable story with beautiful story-telling, I would recommend this book to anyone.

It’s All About Love by Marsha Casper Cook is a romance novel featuring two incredibly sweet, albeit jaded, lovers—Leo and Gracie. The two are a great example of the “fateful encounters” or “brought together by the universe” trope. Meeting on a flight from Paris to Chicago, and then again, several years later, Leo and Gracie are lovers afraid to love. However, when tasked with giving love advice to the masses, how could they not recognize their own spark?

Cook’s novel has well-written characters with developed, unforced chemistry. It is very obviously the work of a talented and experienced romance writer. Overall, it truly is all about love—trials, trust, and the small things that you experience together.
